Deborah Switzer

Deborah Switzer, age 62, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022.

Deborah was a native of Gulfport, MS and current resident of Long Beach, MS. She was of the Baptist Faith. Deborah graduated from Gulfport East High School and received a Master of Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. She received the National Board Certification and was a long-time teacher at the Long Beach School District.

Deborah touched many lives through her caring, thoughtful, and loving spirit. She was a wonderful daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend, and she will be truly missed by all.

She is survived by her parents, Gloria Mauldin and Dr. Talmadge Mauldin; her son, Brian Switzer (Jill); Brian’s father, Brad Switzer; her brother, David Mauldin (Emily); and 2 grandchildren, Aubrey Switzer and Amber Smith.

Friends are invited to join the Switzer family for visitation and services on Friday, April 8th at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. Visitation will be held from 12 to 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
