Debbie Cole passed into the arms of our Lord Thursday morning January 13, 2022, with her loving and devoted husband by her side after fighting a long and courageous battle with leukemia. She is reunited now with her father, Donald William Carpenter, her mother, Edith Russell Carpenter, her sister, Barbara Carpenter Lee and her brother, Donald Russell Carpenter.
Debbie was born in Gulfport, January 23, 1956, and was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. She graduated from Long Beach High School and attended Jeff Davis Community College. She retired due to health concerns in 2019 from All-Phase Electric after 23 years employment. Debbie loved vacationing in the mountains, wildlife, gardening and baking but above all she loved and was devoted to her family.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bobby Duane Cole, her sons, Justin Duane Cole and Matthew Ryan Cole and his wife Katrina. She leaves four grandchildren, Braden, Jessica and Ava Cole and Alaura Walker, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. There is no way to measure how much she will be missed by all of us.
A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held at a later date for her family and friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Hightower and Dr. Wall for their care and guidance and all of the caregivers who loved Debbie and helped along the way.
The family requests charitable donations be made to the American Leukemia Society, HSSM or to a charity of your choice.
The Riemann Family Funeral Home, Biloxi, is serving the family.
