Deborah Lynn Goff Buford, age 53, resident of D' Iberville, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2009, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Buford was born in the Phillipines to military parents. She was a longtime resident of Biloxi, graduating from Biloxi High School. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of The Redeemer in Biloxi, member of the Red Hat Society, volunteered with the Handicapable, and was President of the Western Variety Dancers. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was the best friend one could ask for, and was always there to encourage others, speak a kind word, or lend a helping hand.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clifton """"Buddy"""" Goff; and a grandson, Joshua Robert Tio.
She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Terry Buford of D' Iberville; daughters, Tara Lynn Buford of D' Iberville, Melissa Anne Tio of Saucier and her husband Robert, and Terri Michelle """"Shelly"""" Saienni and her husband Victor of Jacksonville, FL; mother, June Fountain Goff of Biloxi; brothers, David Goff of Memphis, TN and his wife Barbara, Michael Goff of Mobile, AL; grandchildren, Logan Saienni and Matthew Tio; and other loving family and close friends.
Funeral services were held on Friday, April 24, 2009, at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer at 11:00 a.m. Burial followed at Floral Hills Cemetery. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, was in charge of the arrangments.
