Debbie Sones

Debbie Ann Sones, age 64 of Gulfport MS, passed away Monday, October 25th, 2021

She was a native and lifelong resident of Gulfport and was a lifelong active member of St. John Catholic Church in Gulfport.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents Russell Wagner and Betty F. Wagner.

She is survived by her daughter, Megan (Justin) Moran; her brother, Richard (Becky) Wagner; her grandchildren, Aiden and Bentley Moran; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Debbie loved spending time with her grandchildren. They were the joy of her life. She also was especially close to Richard’s daughter, Heather Sherman, Heather’s kids, Rylan, Dylan, and Tristan, his great granddaughter Skylar, and his great grandson Tripp. Her fur baby Bella was her constant companion. She enjoyed her company and affection. Debbie was also an avid New Orleans Saints fan.

The visitation for family and friends will begin at 9:00 AM, Saturday, October 30, 2021 at St. John  the Evangelist Catholic Church, Gulfport.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
