DeAnna Marie Tucker, age 29, of Gulfport, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, in Gulfport.
DeAnna was a 2000 graduate of Harrison Central HIgh School and she worked for Dillard's, Belk, and was currently employed as a customer service specialist at Cellular South. DeAnna was a special person that brought so much joy to others. She was a dedicated mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her father, Danny Parker, her grandmother, Mary McClure, and an aunt, Teresa Lynn Rowell.
She is survived by her son, Landon Alan Van Court, 2 step-children, Jaeden Twinn and Kai Van Court, her parents, Alan and Barbara Weatherford, her sisters, Rachel (Robert) Cawley, Courtney and Brittany Weatherford, her fiance, Steven Twinn, Jr., her grandparents, Robert and Joyce Weatherford, Pat Weatherford, and Lester and Kay Rowell, her aunts and uncles, Lester and Lynn Rowell, Jr., AJ and Debbie Rowell and Sally Dawson, her son's father, Anthony Van Court, her best friend and cousin, Nikki Jones, and numerous other relatives, friends, and co-workers.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1- 3 pm at the First Baptist Church, 300 N Cleveland Ave., Long Beach. The funeral service will be at 3 pm in the church sanctuary.
Interment will be in Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens, 28th Street, Long Beach.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to St. Vincent de Paul School, c/o Landon Van Court, 4321 Espy Ave., Long Beach, MS 39560.
