David Waller

David Eugene Waller was born in Gulfport, MS on January 29, 1944, and passed away April 14, 2017. His parents were Bessie Ikerd Waller and David Floyd Waller.
He attended Gulfport schools; obtained as Associate degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and attend William Carey College, after spending time in the U.S. Navy Stationed aboard the USS Hawkins.
David was always employed in the field of law enforcement having been employed by the City of Gulfport Police Department, The Harrison County Sheriff's Department and retiring from the US Government as a Federal Policeman.
Being preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his sons, D. Shannon Waller (Cassandra) and Daniel C. Waller (Kellie); sisters, Myrna W. Cody; granddaughters, Kierstyn Waller, Paityn Waller and Shandi Waller; nieces, Rhonda Cody and Karen McGill; nephew, Randy Cody, plus several great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Harrison County Humane Shelter or a church of one's choice.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Dixie Whitehouse Nursing and Rehabilitation and Kare Health Care.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. A visitation will began at 12:00 PM until service time. A burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
