David Stoddard

David Lee Stoddard, age 69, of Gulfport, passed away on December 12, 2018.
He was born in Independence, Missouri, to James Weston and Myrtle Love Stoddard.
David loved his career as a mechanic, fixing and rebuilding vehicles, especially the antique models. He loved NASCAR, college football, pro football, traveling, and car shows, and was very involved in Crusin' the Coast.  David was a great pool player and he enjoyed karaoke, but he mostly loved visiting with family and friends
He is survived by his daughters, Sherry Lynn Stoddard, Amy Deneice Stoddard, and Rae Ann Kay Stoddard; his sons, Weston Eugene Stoddard, and David Joseph Stoddard; his sister, Gloria McKenzie (Don); his grandchildren, Hope Stoddard Muterspaugh, Jessica Milner, Calvin Milner, Logan Stoddard, Seldon Stoddard, Krysten Rae Stoddard, Weston "Bud" Stoddard, Emma Stoddard, Alexzander Stoddard, MaKayla Cubler, Ahmyah Alexander, Ahdaysha Alexander, Kamden Stoddard; his great grandchildren, Zackary Muterspaugh, Zoey Muterspaugh, Zaiden Muterspaugh, Dakota Hebert, Alyssah Hebert, and Travis Hebert; his niece, Beth Ann Williford; his nephew, Scott McKenzie ; other relatives, Betty Stoddard, Rex Edward Johnson, Jr.
The family would like to thank everyone for helping celebrate the life and memories of our dad, Paw Paw, friend and hero.
Visitation will be 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, December 17, 2018, at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.

I am learning how to live in a new way since that day you were taken away.

you live on through the memories that remain.
I am learning how to live knowing I will never again see your face.
And I have peace knowing you're in a better place.

It gives me the strength to move on
and makes the pain much easier to bear.
