David Stillman

Mr. David L. Stillman, age 89, passed away on July 3, 2018 in Gulfport, MS.
He was born in Sayer, PA and most recently a resident of Diamondhead.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Stillman and Eleanor Whipple Stillman; and his sister, Nancy Patton.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Georgiana Stillman, of Diamondhead; three children, Matthew Stillman (Cheryl) of Pinehurst, NC, Gregory Stillman (Patricia) of Huntingtown, MD, Georgiana Hoover (Sean) of Diamondhead, MS; six grandchildren, Joshua, Caleb, Zachary, Sam, Olivia, Isaiah; and one sister, Eleanor Buchinski.
Mr. Stillman went to Dartmouth College where he majored in history, then attended the episcopal seminary in Alexandria, VA. He served our country in the US Army during the Korean War. He then taught at Hyattsville Junior High School where he met his beautiful wife, Georgiana. He was a furniture salesman for most of his life thereafter. He was also an avid gardener.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Diamondhead United Methodist Church in Diamondhead, MS. Interment will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery.
