David S. Redmond, Sr., 50, resident of Biloxi passed away March 24, 2011 in Larranger, LA.
He was a loving husband, father, and son.
David, also known as ""Super Dave"", was an avid motor crosser who held an AMA Professional Super Cross License.
He was an Expert First Class Ship fitter and Certified Welder.
David is preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Onealure Redmond and Octave and Ezelle LaCaze.
He is survived by his wife, Estelle Redmond; sons, David Redmond, Jr. and Jeremy Swanzy (Nicole); mother, Effie Redmond; father, Henry Redmond; brothers, James E. Redmond, Robert Redmond, and Joseph Redmond; sister, Cheryl Redmond; 4 grandchildren; and an untold amount of other family members and friends.
A Celebration of life service will be held Sunday, March 27, 2011 at 1:00 pm, with friends invited to visit from 12:30 until service time at Cedar Lake United Methodist Church, 12332 Cedar Lake Road, Biloxi.
RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Gulfport assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any Hancock Bank to the account of David Redmond, Sr.
