David Peterson

David Kenneth Peterson, age 78, of Pass Christian, passed away on April 16, 2020.

He was preceded in death by father, Aven Peterson, mother, Ethel Malley Peterson; and several brothers, Maven, Hayward, Mack, James, and Clayton.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jeanette Necaise Peterson; his children, Steven Bonner (Carolyn), Crystal Cuevas (Jeffery), and Cristie Holbrook; his siblings, Helen Ladner (Jessie), Lois Wells, Lou Ferguson (Norman), Linda Lynch (Kelly), Billy Peterson (Brenda), Jessie Peterson (Janet), Donnie Peterson (Wanda); 7 grandchildren, Kenneth Bonner, Johnathan Bonner, Meghan Anderson, Samantha Moran (Clinton), Blake Cuevas, Blair Holbrook, Caitlyn Holbrook; 11 great-grandchildren, Mia, Michael, Lily, Joseph, Scarlet, Misty, Marley, Mabes, Gunter, Keaston, and Konnor; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The life of David Peterson is one that will be remembered and celebrated by many. He was first and most importantly a man of God. His catholic faith is something that he held tight to throughout his 78 years of life.

He had two loves in his life, his wife of 59 years, Jeanette. And his lawnmower shop, his pride and joy. For those of you who knew him, you were lucky. For those of you who didn’t, he would be best described as an honest, hardworking man, who loved his family and held firm to his Faith. We are so grateful to have had him then, and God is so lucky to have him now.

Visitation will be on Sunday, April 19, 2020, from 2 pm – 8 pm at the family residence, 28555 Peterson Road, Pass Christian, MS. A graveside service will be on Monday, April 20, 2020, at 4 pm in Standard Sandhill Cemetery.
