In Loving Memory of David Wayne Loree

David Wayne Loree, age 69 of Saucier, MS entered into rest on January 16, 2025, at Singing River Hospital of Gulfport, MS after complications from an illness.  

David was born on May 16, 1955 in Albuquerque, NM late Herbert and Shige “Mary” Loree.

He was a 1973 graduate of Daleville High School in Daleville, AL, a United States Air Force Veteran and Vietnam Veteran, a former employee of Ingalls Shipyard, former employee of Haliburton Shipyard, and a retiree of the United States Postal Service.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Shige “Mary” Loree, and his brother Walter Loree.

David is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Elizabeth A. Loree of Saucier, MS; sons, Rikki D. (Maddy) Loree of Saucier, MS and Tomas (Dora) Loree of Kingsland, GA; sister, Mary (John) Loree-Watson of Biloxi, MS; brothers, Kenneth Loree of Huntsville, AL, Stuart Loree of Saucier, MS, and Scottie Loree of Biloxi, MS; grandchildren, Tomas Loree, Mia Loree, Kiana Loree, Rikki Loree Jr., and Logan Loree. David also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of nieces and nephews, along with many honorary sons and grandchildren.

David always hoped he was always able to touch others by his teaching and guidance. 

Graveside Services with Military Honors will held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 31, 2025, at the Biloxi National Cemetery (400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi).

Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport is assisting the family.
