David Garrido

Mr. David Garrido, age 50, resident of Gulfport, died on Monday, June 23, 2008, in Gulfport.
Mr. Garrido was a native of Guam and had been a resident of Gulfport for the last 13 years. He attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Gulfport and enjoyed watching television with his family. He was a former interpreter for the school system in Guam.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Josefa Garrido; his four brothers, Pete, Joseph, Raymond, and Jesus; and a close uncle, Nicholas.
He is survived by his brother, Carlos Garrido of Guam and his wizfe Rose; sisters, Ann Rautenstrauch of New York and her husband George, Lola Roberto of Orlando, FL and her husband Johnny, and Carmen Tilley of Gulfport and her husband Randy; sisters-in-law, Rose Garrido of Gulfport, Frances Garrido of California, and Dasa Aguon of Guam; and numerous nieces and nephews, especially, Ashley.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 30, 2008, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, DePew Rd., Gulfport at 5:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church Building Fund, 12290 DePew Road, Gulfport, MS 39503.
