David K. Fairley, age 54, of Saucier, died Friday, September 28, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mr. Fairley was a native and lifelong resident of Saucier and he graduated from Harrison Central High School and attended and played football at Perkinston Junior College. He owned and operated Saucier Trading Company and Eagle Motors in Saucier. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and he enjoyed drag racing, bird hunting, fishing, and he was the """"BBQ King.""""
Survivors include his wife, Karan Fairley, his daughter, Julia (Randy) Speed, his parents, John D. and Gloria Kay Fairley, 3 brothers, Allen (Susan) Fairley, Michael Fairley, and Rickey (Debra) Fairley, 1 sister, Wanda (Billy) Jennings, all of Saucier, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins that referred to him as """"Uncle Boo Boo"""" and many, many friends and business associates across the coast.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 30, 2007 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Hwy 49 N, Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 10:00 am Monday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Saucier where friends may visit from 9:00 am - 10:00 am.
Interment will be in Rouse Cemetery.
