David John Daniels, age 76 and a resident of Gulfport, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2010, in Gulfport.
Mr. Daniels had a 26 year career in the National Park Service, where he served throughout the United States.
He is preceded in death by his parents, David A. & Edna A. Daniels.
David is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Charlotte Jean; his sons, Scot of Colorado Springs, CO, David of Harlingen, TX, and Mark of Laredo, TX; his grandchildren, Maddie, Sophia, Gunnar, and Collin.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2010, from 6pm-8pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport.
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2010, at 5:30pm at St. Peter's By-The-Sea Episcopal Church in Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
Inurnment will be held at the National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN at a later date.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
