David Campbell

David Scott Campbell, age 53 of Gulfport, MS, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021, at his home.

He was born in Vicksburg, MS, on July 20, 1968, to the late Scottie and Jane Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his father, Scottie Campbell; his mother, Jane Dyer Studer Campbell; his aunt, Virginia Studer Clarke; and his cousin, Erin Kathleen Clarke.

David is survived by his wife, Sheila Campbell of Gulfport, MS; his two sons Charles "Evan" Campbell of Gulfport, MS, and Westley Scott Campbell of D’Iberville, MS; his three sisters, Angela Murphy, Sandra Rosado, and Donna McGregor of Vicksburg, MS; his nephews, Ian Derrick and Patrick Murphy; his nieces, Dee Jay King Huebner and Dana Derrick May; his great nephews, Ryan Derrick, John Reed Derrick, Rylan Mulliken and Michael May; his great nieces, Ainsley Mulliken, Gracie Huebner and Kaylyn May.

David loved music (heavy metal and rock) and playing guitars with his sons. David was an electrician for 25 plus years and took great pride in his work. He loved his family, friends and fur babies wholeheartedly. His smile could brighten up your day and his jokes would have you laughing.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Riemann Family Funeral Home in 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS, with a visitation from 1:00 PM until the service.
