David Charles Campbell, age 76 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Monday, August 29, 2011, in Gulfport.
Mr. Campbell has been a resident of Gulfport since 1993, served in the U.S. Army, and was a boilermaker. David was well loved by many and will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence & Lucille Campbell; his wife, Ruth Campbell, and a son, Paul David Campbell.
Mr. Campbell is survived by his children, Jacalyn Myers of Gulfport and William (Marsha) Campbell of Minnesota; his siblings, Luke (June) Campbell and Lois (Dean) Reed of Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
The Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, assisted the family with arrangements.
