David A. Bergeron, 82, died peacefully Monday, August 8, at his home in Gulfport. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Cris Bergeron; son, Mike Bergeron; and daughter, Cindy Bergeron, all of Gulfport; sisters-in-law Sue (Martin) Durbec of Arlington, TX, Lloa Beard of Saucier, Myra Crisman of Gulfport, Ann Crisman of Amherst, N.H. and numerous nieces and nephews.
He retired in 1975 as a Master Chief in the U.S. Navy after 30 years service.
He loved his family, traveling, coffee, and a good Southern-cooked meal.
Burial will be Friday, August 12, 10 a.m. at the National Cemetery in Biloxi. The family requests that those in attendance please dress with August heat in mind.
