TSgt David A. ""Andy"" Anderson, USAF, Ret., 73, of Biloxi, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2011. He was an 11 year cancer survivor.
Mr. Anderson was born in St. Paul, MN on Oct. 31, 1937, and had been a resident of Biloxi since 1965. He retired after 20 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. He managed Hooper Electronics for 29 years, was a member of Amateur Radio (WB5KDV), Good Sam's Club and former member of Joppa Temple.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Myron and Dorothy Anderson, and a brother, Mark Anderson (a victim of Hurricane Katrina).
He is survived by his wife Joyce, of 53 years; brother Robert E. (Cindy) Anderson of Novato, CA; Daughters Jeanette (Bill) Brown, of Gulfport, and Nancy (Joey) Burton of Biloxi; Grandchildren Brandon (Kimberly) Brown, Dusty Burton and Bryan Brown (USS McFaul); Great-grandson, Finley Brown.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made to a charity of your choice.
