Daryl Lee Dehart

Daryl Lee Dehart, age 55 of Lee Town, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Elizabeth Dehart; his daughter, Rochelle Dehart; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Daryl is survived by his loving wife, Amber Dehart; his children, Sabrina (Steven) Dehart, Elizabeth (Rafael) Dehart, Daryl (Christen) Dehart, Jr., Kevin (Alyssa) Dehart, Sarah (Jon) Love, Ayden Jones, and Logan Dehart; his siblings, Darla (Leon) Huddleston, Sandra (Hank) Borecki, Shannon (John) Lennon, and Kevin Dehart; nineteen wonderful, loving grandchildren; his beloved dog, Buddy, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in Modesto, CA and went to Turlock Schools. He was the youngest of 5 siblings and would always tattle on his older siblings. After growing up in California, Daryl married Lori Tumilty on January 26, 1984, and they had six children.  They would later divorce and Daryl would move to Oklahoma in 2012. After moving to Sayre, OK, Daryl met the love of his life Amber Stallings, and they would marry on May 7, 2016.

Daryl was kindhearted and was affectionately known as “Papa Daryl.” He would always help others when in need as he never met a stranger and could make you laugh at the drop of a dime.  He would keep you on your toes with his comebacks as he was very witty.  Daryl loved his motorcycles, country music, loved his parents greatly, his cars, especially his corvettes, and loved gambling at the casinos. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Services for Daryl will be held in Sayre, OK, and Modesto, CA, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Daryl’s name to the American Heart Association.

Riemann Family Funeral Home, Pass Christian, served the family.  Memories and condolences may be shared at www.riemannfamily.com .
