Darren Kurt Endris, age 52, of Biloxi, passed away on January 16, 2019.
Darren was a graduate of Biloxi High School, the University of Memphis with a bachelor's degree, Mississippi Gulf Coast community College with an associated degree, and American Public University System with a Master of Arts degree. He later graduated from the Mississippi State Fire Academy and the U.S. National Fire Academy. Darren was a Sergeant in the Mississippi National Guard from 1990 to 1992. He received his FAA private pilot license for 2004 - 2005 and was a Firefighter III at the Biloxi Fire Department from 1994 to present and he recently received the Captain's award.
Mr. Endris was preceded in death by his Father, Glenn Edwin Endris, Sr.; and brother, Glenn Edwin Endris, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Mona Freeman Endris; mother, Brenda Marie Gendron; daughter, Katherine Lenora Endris; son, Steven Lee; sister, Panda Endris; brother, Kerry Endris.
A memorial service will held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 19, 2019 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, with visitation for family and friends from 12:00 p.m. until the service.
The in lieu of flowers memorial contributions are to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or www.stjude.org
