Darlene Funk Johnson, age 53 of Gulfport, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2011.
Darlene was a longtime resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and was a member of the Family Worship Center.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jerry W. Funk, Sr., and her brother, Arnold (Skip) Funk.
Darlene is survived by her mother, Earline (Nean) Funk; her daughters, Gena L. Johnson, Deanna Lee Johnson, and Christina M. Johnson; her brothers, Jerry W. (Jewel) Funk, Jr., Michael K. Funk, and Scott A. Funk; her grandchildren, Ashton T. Johnson and Kayla M. Johnson; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews and her dear friend, John Friddle.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at 12'Noon at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where family and friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Woolmarket Cemetery.
