Darleen Palmer Dickinson, born on August 11, 1937, in Fenimore, NY to Bette and George Palmer, died on Tuesday, August 2, 2011, in Gulfport.
Darleen enjoyed horseshoes, bingo, casinos, and going to the Wiggins Senior Center.
In addition to her parents, Darleen was preceded in death by her grandson, Shane McCulloch in 2000.
She is survived by her children, Lannie Bethel of Raleigh, NC, Deena Murphy of Castleton, NY, Kim Stevens of Fairbanks, AK, and Matthew (Jennifer) Dickinson of Whitehall, NY; her grandchildren, Jaymie (Julie) MacMillan of Fairfax, VT, Christopher (Jessica) Lamica of Holly Springs, NC, Robert Lamica of Hudson Falls, NY, Shawn McCulloch of Menands, NY, Heather Murphy of Canojoharie, NY, Gregory Stevens of Wasilla, AK, Sara Patterson of North Pole, AK, Lauren Stevens of Syracuse, NY, Abby Dickinson, and Spencer Dickinson of Whitehall, NY and seven great grandchildren. Other survivors include her very close friend and caregiver, Karen Thompson and Patsy and Charles Tisdury all of Wiggins.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport.
