Danny Malone, age 63, of Biloxi passed away on Friday, August 7, 2009 in Biloxi.
Mr. Malone was born in Gulfport and, after high school graduation, served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked as chief engineer for 25 years at Broadwater Hotel in Biloxi. He then transitioned into the casino industry and worked as Director of Operations at Splash Casino in Tunica, and Director of Facilities at Harlows Casino Resort in Greenville. He was of the Catholic faith.
Mr. Malone was preceded in death by his wife, Amanda Marie Boudreaux Malone; sister, Sharon Hicks; and his father, Al Malone.
He is survived by his mother, Alice Malone of Gulfport; children, Sean Malone and Danielle Malone, both of Biloxi; step-children, Justin and Eric Boudreaux of LA; brother, Mark Malone of Flowery Branch, GA; grandchildren, Leigha, Loggan, and Devon Malone of Ocean Springs and Jeremiah Boudreaux.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2009, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, at 11:30 a.m. Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials in Danny's name to the American Cancer Society, www.canver.org, or in his wife, Amanda's name, to the American Heart Assoc., www.americanheart.org.
