Danny Keener

Danny Doral Keener, 75, of Gulfport, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021.
Mr. Keener was a native of Birch River, West Virginia and has been a long-time resident of Gulfport. He attended and graduated from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi. He retired from the U.S. Air Force and was worked in Information Technology with the National Weather Service. He loved his country and he loved to drive. Thank you to everyone for making Danny's life wonderful.
Danny was preceded in death by his wife, Bette Williams Keener; and his parents, Thomas Keener and Ora Katherine Heff. He is survived by his daughter, Stacey Keener Carpenter and her husband, Shane; his two granddaughters, Ainsley Mackinzie Carpenter and Katherine Riley Carpenter; and other family, David Williams and his wife, Sherri, Dale Williams, and Jan Schooley and her husband, Mike.
A Graveside Service with military honors rendered by the U.S. Air Force will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport, MS.
