Danielle Fayard Poulos, age 68 and a resident of Ocean Springs, died Sunday, February 17, 2008, in Ocean Springs.
Mrs. Poulos, a native of Biloxi, was a homemaker and worked at Deedy's Dress Shop in Ocean Springs for many years. She enjoyed her garden, working in the yard, and swimming at the Donal Snyder Community Center in Biloxi.
Mrs. Poulos was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Opal Fayard; and a sister, Mary Ann Fayard.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Joseph Poulos, of Ocean Springs; children, Scott Joseph Poulos and wife, Beth, of Saucier; Cameron V. Poulos, of Ocean Springs; and Charmayne Purvis and husband, Jason, of Gulfport; sisters, Shirley Wilkerson, of LaRue, MS; Beverly Waits, of Long Beach; six grandchildren, Cameron W. Poulos, Jessica Poulos, Jillian Poulos, Zachary Poulos, Chad Freeman, and Dani Merritt; and four great-grandchildren, Cameron J. Poulos, Andrew Poulos, Emaleigh Poulos, and Reighlyn Poulos.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations to the charity of one's choice.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, February 25, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima in Biloxi.
