Daniel Andrew Denholm, know to his friends as "Double D",  resident of Vancleave, MS., a native of Akron, Ohio, and a  Retired United States Navy Veteran, passed away on February 21, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving his family and friends shocked and heartbroken

Dan is preceded in death by his parents, Harry Andrew Denholm and Eileen Francis Campbell Denholm.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of 17 years, Sabina Sagmeister; his children, Daniel Denholm, Jr. of Leslie, AR, Jennifer Moya and her husband, Mauricio of San Antonio, TX, and Sylvia Denholm of Jacksonville, FL; his grandchildren, Alejandro, Jocelyn and Wyatt Moya of San Antonio, TX., Isaac Andrew Caraballo and Mariah Anne Denholm of Jacksonville, FL.,  and Bennett Denholm of Leslie, AR.; his sister, Aileen B. Denholm of Buffalo, N.; numerous relatives and dear colleagues and friends.

Dan received countless medals as an Air Traffic Controller in the U.S. Navy including, N&NC Commendation Medal, N&NC Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal, Defense Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, N&NC Overseas Service Ribbon, E Rifle Medal, and EAWS Insignia.

He was a loving father, husband, grandfather and dear friend to everyone who knew him.  He was brave, strong and outspoken.  Dan’s jokes and sense of humor were loved by all, and his strong morals and responsibility will forever be an example for all who knew and loved him. Per his wishes, no services are being held.
