Daniel Edward Roche, a longtime resident of Biloxi, MS, and for the last ten years, a resident of Denham Springs, passed on Friday, October 26, 2018, at the age of 87, after a lengthy illness.
He is survived by his loving wife of forty four years, Betty Jean Fehr Roche ; his stepdaughter, Joanne Moschella of Houston, TX; grandsons, Greg Tatum of Denham Springs, Paul Tatum of Hattiesburg, MS, and Charlie McGinn of Biloxi, MS; six great-grandchildren; and one great, great-granddaughter.
While residing in Biloxi, MS, Dan and Betty owned and operated Biloxi Trailer Park and was a very active volunteer and Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Fatima Church, until moving to Denham Springs, where he continued his volunteer work with Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Dan Roche was a graduate from St. Edwards University in Austin, TX, and was also a veteran who served in the military during the Korean War.
Visitation will be held at Immaculate Conception Church on Monday, October 29, 2018 beginning at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
