Daniel """"Travis"""" Boone, III, age 60 and a resident of Biloxi, died Saturday, March 7, 2009 in Biloxi.
Travis was a native of Poplarville and served in the Merchant Marines during the 1960's. He was a member of the Biloxi Yacht Club and was the owner of Boone Abstracting where he was a Broker and Abstractor. Travis was also an avid sailor and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Travis Boone II and his mother, Dahlia P. Boone.
He is survived by his wife, Karen L. Boone; sisters, Rebecca Alston and Susan Reed Lane and her husband Jimmy; son, Bryan Rowe and his wife Judy; grandson, John Brinson Rowe; and niece, Angela Alston Ross and her husband Kenny.
The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of South MS.
