Daniel Jackson """"Dan"""" Fisher, 63, of Vancleave died Tuesday, October 10, 2006 in Vancleave.
Mr. Fisher was a native of Consolidation Village, MD and served 2 tours in Vietnam with the U.S. Army, one as a Helicopter pilot and the other as Military Police. He served as Chief of Police in Paw Paw, WVA, worked for the Harrison County Sheriff's Office, and the MS State Port Commission.
He was also a certified locksmith, ASE Certified Mechanic, held an FCC License, was a member of the N.R.A., enjoyed collecting knives, helping others and restoring vintage cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jackson Robert and Gladys Winebremmer Fisher and a brother, Robert Fisher.
Survivors include his son A02(A.W.) Hathan Scot Fisher, U.S. Navy, NAS Lemoore, CA, one brother, Dane Fisher, Meyersville, PA, one grandson, Zachary Scot Fisher, and a close friend, Ruth Delancey, Vancleave.
A graveside service will be Thursday, October 19, 2006 at 2:30 pm in Biloxi National Cemetery.
