Daniel George Brown

Daniel George Brown, age 67, of Pass Christian, MS passed away on October 9, 2024.

He was born May 27, 1957, in Gulfport, Mississippi to James and Willietta Brown. Daniel was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca “Becky” Brown; his parents, J.D. & Willietta Brown; paternal, George and Pearl Brown; and maternal, Arvy Shaw and Culiver Ladner. 

He served his country from 1975 – 1979 in the United States Marine Corps. Daniel was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dedeaux. In his spare time, he enjoyed going fishing, listening to country music, going to antique car shows, motorcycles, and going to the rodeo, where he received an injury of his ankle.

Daniel leaves his cherished memories to his step daughter, April Vanover; grandson, Bradley Hoopes; sisters, Cynthia Meeker (Chuck) and Belinda Olsen (Mark); brother, Brock Brown (Bridgette); nieces and nephews, Andrew Olsen (Jennifer), Cameron Olsen (Katie), Joshua Meeker (Brett), Matthew Meeker, Brianna Brown, Beth Lovejoy (Austin), and Brennan Brown; grand nieces and nephews, Tucker, Tanner, Braxton, Owen, Bennett, Olivia, Baylor, Carter, and Briggs; and god children, Cassie Rutledge, Duffy Cole, Stacy Shaw, Joshua Meeker, and Brianna Brown. 

The family will receive friends 10:00 am – 11:00 am Friday October 18, 2024, at Scared Heart Catholic Church in Dedeaux, 14595 Vidalia Road, Pass Christian, MS 39571. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated after the visitation at 11:00 am at the church. Interment will follow the services in Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux.
