Dana Aminett Rowell, age 48 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Saturday, June 9, 2012, in Gulfport.
Dana was a native and lifelong resident of Long Beach and a 1980 graduate of Long Beach High School. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Long Beach.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, J.K. & Truman Rowell and Marion Phillips.
Dana is survived by her loving parents, Albert & Peggy Rowell of Long Beach; her brother, Terry (Mila) Rowell of Dublin, CA and numerous other loving family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at 11:00am at First United Methodist Church in Long Beach, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to First United Methodist Church, 208 Pine Street, Long Beach, MS 39560.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach, assisted the family with arrangements.
