Damon K. Hibbs, age 81, of Gulfport, passed away August 12, 2012.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Irwin Hibbs and Marie Worth Hibbs.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Isabel Hibbs; five sons, William (Cheri) Hibbs, Robert (Maria) Hibbs, Steven Hibbs, Paul (Georgette) Hibbs, and Brian (Julie) Hibbs; grandchildren, Elijah, Marissa, Miranda, Nathan, Christopher, Kady, Joshua, Bradlie, and Caleb; his sister, Ilah Joyce.
Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at New Hope Baptist Church, 17430 Landon Rd, Gulfport, MS. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm at the church.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Hardin Memorial Park in Elizabeth, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 S. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or The Gideons International, PO Box 4378 Biloxi, MS 39535.
