Mr. Mottet was born in Riverside, IA to Clem and Leona Mottet on February 20, 1940. He was a professional gambler by trade.
Mr. Mottet was preceded in death by his parents, Clem and Leona Mottet; and his brothers, Keith Mottet and John Mottet.
He is survived by his significant other, Twyla Hall of Gulfport; his children, Annette Mary Mottet of Holly Springs, NC and C John Mottet of Charlotte, NC; and two grandchildren, Jasmine Mottet and Ayana Mottet.
Private services will be held in North Carolina at a later date. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport is in charge of local arrangements.
