Dac was a devoted husband to Lam Le and a loving father to Hon Truong, Kaitlin Gai (Tam Tran) Truong, Kristy Phuong (Luis Bui) Truong, Angel Phuong Truong, Jan Truong, Thu (David Barringer) Truong; a doting grandfather to Kenneth Truong, Kevin Truong, Kyle Truong, Ngoc Giao Truong, Holly Truong, Sophia Dang, Kylie Tran, Jolie Bui, Eden Bui, Elaina Phan-Truong, Francis Phan-Truong, Alex Phan-Truong, Andrew Phan-Truong. He was also a beloved brother to Mau Truong, Mimi Truong, and Khai Truong.
Born in Vietnam, he embarked on a journey of hope, fleeing his homeland with his wife and children to provide his family with a brighter future. With unwavering determination, he built a life from nothing, exemplifying the true spirit of perseverance.
