Cyrus Rockwood, age 82 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Friday, February 3, 2012, in Gulfport.
Mr. Rockwood served in the U.S. Army Air Corp and was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Gulfport. He was employed as a General Foreman at the CB Base in Gulfport and in Okinawa, Japan. He was also employed for 12 years at the former Copa Casino in Gulfport.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Rockwood; his daughters, Cindy Kelley, Janet, Kathy, and Mary Ellen; his son, Jerry; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at 11:15am at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where family and friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
