Mr. Curtis John """"Ted"""" Williams, age 89, resident of Biloxi, passed away on April 14, 2009, in Biloxi.
Mr. Williams was born in Platteville, WI to the late Roy John and Hazel Mae Williams. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Platteville, with an Industrial Arts degree. He worked at Keesler Air Force Base for over 25 years as an air traffic control instructor. His retirement led him to take up his hobby of fishing as a profession. He was a fishing guide at Toledo Bend for 17 years. His other hobby was woodworking, in which he made numerous household items for family.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Irma Grace Williams of Biloxi; son, Dr. Richard C. Williams and his wife Faye of Biloxi; grandchildren, Troy Williams and his wife Melissa of Biloxi, and Courtney Grace Migues and her husband Jeffrey of Biloxi; great grandchildren, Grayson and Brayden Williams.
Private services will be held on Monday, April 20, 2009.
