Curtis E. Dykes, age 72 of Gulfport, passed away on September 13, 2018. He was currently residing in Picayune, MS.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Curtis James Dykes and Ersley Cowart Odom; three brothers, Eddie Dykes, Ernie Dykes, and Elvin Dykes; and one sister, Betty Ferrill.
He is survived by three children, Kenneth "Reid" Stewart, Stacey White (Ricky), Cheryl Lowery (Brian); eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Bobby Dykes and Vernon Odom.
He worked at the Georgia Co-op for the Blind, where he retired.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, with a visitation for family and friends from 10:00 AM until the service. Interment will follow at Finley Cemetery.
