Curtis Buchanan, Jr.

Curtis Lee Buchanan, age 79, of Woolmarket, passed away on March 23, 2018.
Mr. Buchanan was born in Handsboro, MS, to Curtis Lee and Florence Buchanan.  He was the owner of Buchanan's Garage on Lorraine Road for over 40 years and the garage is now owned and operated by his son, Lee Buchanan.  Curtis loved fishing, boating, his corvette and antique pickup, but most of all, he loved his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Diane; his children, Joy (Ray) Walley, Gay (Michael) Thompson, and Lee (Christy) Buchanan; 7 grandchildren, Ashlie (Johnny) Huckaby, Mike (Lyndsey) Thompson, Megann (Drew) Greshman, Jenny (Logan) Stogner, Charlie (Faye) Walley, Holly (Josh) Stanford, Eddie (Meagan) Walley; 13 great-grandchildren, Casey and Lilly Huckaby, Michael III, Phillip, and Jacob Thompson, Hendricks Lee Gresham, Lorelai and Lainey Stogner, Chip and Lyla Walley, Johnathan Sanford and Blake and Eryn Walley; and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, where friends and family may visit from 1 - 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Gulf Coast Rescue Mission.
