Curt Tanner, age 54, of Gulfport died Monday, December 3, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mr. Tanner was a native and lifelong resident of Gulfport. He was retired from the City of Gulfport due to medical reasons after 13 years. He served in the recreation department and was also an accomplished ceramic artist. He enjoyed his dogs, landscaping and helping others.
Mr. Tanner was preceded in death by his parents Oliver Tanner Sr. and Betty Jo Tanner.
He is survived by his wife, Beth Tanner of Gulfport; his siblings, a brother, Frankie Tanner (Kathy) of Arcadia, Florida, two sisters, Debra Harrison of Arcadia, Florida, and Diane Hubere (Will) of Vicksburg, Mississippi.
Friends may call from 6 P.M. to 7 P.M. on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Highway 49 N, Gulfport, and there will be a memorial service at 7 P.M. in the funeral home chapel.
The family prefers memorials be made to Humane Society of South Mississippi or a charity of your choice.
