Henry Curtis """"Curt"""" Pippin, Jr. age 56, of Gulfport died April 14, 2007 in Gulfport.
Curt graduated from Gulfport East High School, he served in the United States Air Force, and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Gulfport. He worked with his father at Abbey Printing in Gulfport for 15 years. After Abbey Printing was purchased by Knight Printing, Curt continued HIs career with Knight Abbey Printing. He was a former board member for Beauvour, a life member of Sons of Confederate Veterans, member of the Christian Motorcycle Association, and was an organizer of Iron Horse Community Church, which was held at Cowan Road Baptist Church. He was an active member of civil war reinactments sponsored by First Mississippi Partisan Rangers Dismounted Calvary Reinacting Regiment. He loved motorcyles and witnessed through the CMA. He had been a resident of Gulfport since 1963.
Mr. Pippin is preceded in death by his father, Henry Curtis Pippin, Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Carrie Mae Pippin; his son, Henry C. Pippin, III; his sister, Nancy Pippin, all of Gulfport.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Scholarship fund for college for Henry C. Pippin, III at any Hancock Bank.
Visitation is today, Tuesday, April 17, 2007 from 5-7 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Gulfport. Service will be on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial to follow at Floral Hills in Gulfport.
