Cordell Ladner Sr.

James "Cordell" Ladner Sr., age 79, of Pass Christian, entered into eternal rest on June 13, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alton H. and Elizabeth D. Ladner; his sisters, Inez Necaise and Veronica Ladner; and his brother, Lamar Ladner. 

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rebecca Ladner; his children, Jamie (Amanda) Ladner and Jerad (Jennifer) Ladner; his siblings, Henrietta Niolet and Gerald (Roxanne) Ladner; grandchildren, Caleb and Presley Ladner and Alton Ladner; great grandchild, Kaysen Hartley; and his godchildren, Tina Ladner, Elizabeth Osborne, Matthew Ladner, and Joey Ladner.

Cordell was a US Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam War and was a construction contractor. He was an avid fisherman.

The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and kind words for Cordell and the Ladner family. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cordell's honor to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:15 pm Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Most Holy Trinity, Pass Christian, where friends may visit from 11 - 12:15 at the church. 

Interment will take place at a later date with a private service at Biloxi National Cemetery
