Cordelia Malley

Cordelia Cuevas Deschamp Malley, age 94, of the Dedeaux Community, died, Monday, March 26, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Malley was born in Hancock County on May 20, 1912 the year of the Titanic. She lived in Harrison County most of her life and went out of state once to Nashville. Mrs. Malley was Baptist. She had the love and respect of many friends and loved ones to talk to like Ida Lee. She also cared for her sister for 40 years and her grandmother for 5 years.
Mrs. Malley was preceded in death by two husbands, Ben Deschamp and Nathaniel Malley; son Ruford Deschamp and his wife Dorothy Deschamp; grandsons, Kerry Wayne Malley, Timmy Jo Deschamp, Ruben Deschamp, Jr,; granddaughter, Cathleen Deschamp; sister, Alberta Melton and her brothers, Dennis Cuevas, Herbert Cuevas and Otis Cuevas. She is survived by five children, Ruben Deschamp of Dedeaux, Audrey Dryden of Gulfport, Dorothy Malley of Dedeaux, Larry Deschamp of Dedeaux and Ben Deachamp of Lizana; 33 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren and 25 great great grandchildren.
The family extends a special thanks to the staff on the south wing of Driftwood Care Givers and Odyssey Hospice for their courtesy and support.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Wolf Creek Baptist Church from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Alphonse Malley Cemetery.
