Connie R. Turan, age 84, of Gulfport, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2009, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Turan was a member of First United Methodist Church, Gulfport. She was also a member of DAR and enjoyed dancing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Vossler and Jessica Ann Weidman; her husband, Hubert N. Turan; her son, Terry Lee Turan; and her grandson, Ray Turan, Jr.
She is survived by her son Hubert """"Ray"""" Turan and his wife, Carla, of Gulfport; 4 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild.
The visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2009, at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Evergreen Gardens in Gulfport.
