Connie Parrish

Connie S. Parrish, age 47 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Thursday, July 6, 2006 in Gulfport. Connie was a lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast, a graduate of MGCCC Jeff Davis Campus. She worked for CDI Engineering at Dupont DeLisle Plant and was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Lizana. Connie loved flowers and artwork, taking care of others and was a loving """"Nana"""".
Connie is preceded in death by her grandparents: maternally, Mr. & Mrs. Sullivan J. Peterson and paternally, Mr. & Mrs. Munroe James Necaise.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, John William Parrish of Gulfport and one son, Chad John Parrish of Gulfport; two grandsons, Chandler Alexander Parrish and Gage Alex Parrish; parents, Mr. & Mrs. John I. Necaise; siblings, Debra Necaise Ladner, Delaine Necaise Ladner, Danny Ray Necaise and Lynn Necaise Martinez, all of Dedeaux; many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2006 from 5:30pm-11:00pm at Gulf Coast Funeral Homes, Kiln DeLisle Road Chapel with a Recitation of the Rosary at 8:00pm. A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:40am on Monday, July 10, 2006 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dedeaux. Burial will follow at Alphonse Malley Cemetery in Hanock County. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Catholic Diocese of Biloxi, 1790 Popps Ferry Road, Biloxi, MS 39532.
