Frank Joseph ""Cole"" Brewer, age 24, a resident of Saucier, MS, died Friday, December 10, 2010, in Biloxi.
Cole attended Saucier Elementary where he won the citizenship award every year, and the American Legion Award. He played football for West Wortham Middle School and was also a drummer in the band. He attended Harrison Central High School where he played the snare drum. His senior year, he was drum captain and met the love of his life, Rachel Truhett. Cole graduated in 2005, and attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College where he obtained an associate's degree. He was a founding member and the original drummer for the band, ""Subtle Shot"". He also played Guitar. Music was Cole's passion in life, as were the New Orleans Saints.
There are no words that can describe the love that he felt for his family and friends. You will be forever loved and greatly missed, Cole ""Deezy"" Brewer.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Hazel Surian, and maternal great-grandfathers, Ulrich Leuenberger and Leon Scarborough; his paternal grandfather, Huey Brewer, and paternal step-grandfather, Ralph Case, and his paternal great-grandmother, Madie Saucier.
Survivors include his parents, Frank and Donna Brewer; sibling, Candace Brewer (Brian Smith); niece, Julie and nephew, Bradley; girlfriend of six years, Rachel Truhett; cousin and ""little brother"" Jeremy Brewer; best friends, Aaron Ladner, Joseph Moran, and Anthony Moore; and his three cats, Bill, Sookie, and Lafayette; grandmothers, Katherine Jennings and Madie B. Case; grandfather, Leon Keith Scarborough; maternal great-grandmother, Mildred Scarborough; great-grandfather, Sam Surian; aunts and uncles, Susan Scarborough and Ricky Davis, Keith Scarborough, Wanda (Brad) Ladner, Lisa (Earl) Ishee, Mary (Johnny) Alexander, Pierce (Allyson) Brewer, Jena O'Neal, Paul (Nancy) Brewer, and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The funeral service will be held at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport on Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday, after 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the family cemetery.
