Clytice Ward Norris II, born on November 6, 1935, in Winter Haven, Florida, passed away on February 18, 2025. A proud veteran, Mr. Norris retired from the United States Air Force as a Technical Sergeant (T-SGT), after years of dedicated service to his country. Following his military career, he settled in McHenry, Mississippi, where he worked as a contractor and continued to lead a life of hard work and commitment.
Clytice was preceded in death by his father, Clytice Ward Norris I, his mother, Francis Anderson Miller, his sister Elizabeth Norris, his son, Clytice W. Norris III, daughters Susan Choate and Judy Norris, and grandsons Brandon Douglas Breland, a Narcotics Investigator with the Wiggins Police Department, and Christopher Leon Norris.
He is survived by his brother Charles F. Norris, daughters, Charlotte (Doug) Breland and Robin Norris, daughter-in-law Dottie Norris, and grandchildren Ryne (Allison) Breland, Isabella Bagnato, Justin Drake, C.W. Norris IV, Donnie Norris, Tiffany (Timothy) Chapman, and Stephanie (Matt) Wiley. He also leaves behind numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to the staff at the VA Rehab and Hospice Units for their care and compassion during Mr. Norris's final days.
Graveside with Military Honors will be held on Friday February 28, 2025 at 12:30 PM at Biloxi National Cemetery 400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531.
