Clydia Tasker Arce, age 86 of Necaise Crossing, died on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 in Necaise Crossing.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Arce.
Survivors include 7 children, Billy Arce (Elaine) of New York, NY, John Arce (Nancy) of Slidell, LA, James Arce (Mandy) of Hot Springs, AR, Linda Gandin of Houston, TX, Henry Arce (Christine) of Tampa, FL, Robert Arce (Michelle) of Necaise Crossing, and Tommy Arce (Zenia) of Stamford, CT; 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Arce was born in Long Island, NY on August 21, 1921 and lived on the Gulf Coast area for over 20 years. She loved nature, landscaping and working outside in the yard. She had been involved in many women's clubs and organizations over the years.
Visitation will be Monday, October 8, 2007, from 9am - 11am at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Necaise Crossing. The funeral service will be at 11am at the church with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
