Clyde Eugene Ready, age 87, of Biloxi, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020 in Biloxi.
Mr. Ready was a native of Monticello, MS and a long-time resident of Biloxi. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1955, serving in the Korean War. He then worked and retired from Civil Service at Keesler Air Force Base. Mr. Ready was a member of Woolmarket Baptist Church and he was a lifetime member Master Mason. He enjoyed vegetable farming, amateur radio and playing guitar.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ada Mae Ready; and his brothers, Malcom and Charles Harold Ready. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Carol Snyder Ready of Biloxi; his son, Mark Fletcher; his brother, Alton Ready; his 4 sisters, Susan Yates, Martha Kindrick, both of Pascagoula, MS, Billie Moore of Clinton, MS, and Mary Ammonett of Hurley, MS; and his nieces, Ginny (Wayne) Sholar, and Gail (Butch) Horning.
Private family services will be held Friday, April 17th and he will be laid to rest at D’Iberville Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to a one’s favorite charity.
