Clifton Johnston

Clifton H. Johnston Sr., age 88, passed away on June 7, 2017 in Gulfport, MS.
Mr. Clifton loved his God, family, fishing, and his country.
He was preceded in death by parents, Arthur Johnston and Maggie Dunn Johnston; five brothers, Robert, Melvin, Winfred, Millard, Howard; granddaughter, Rachel Moholland;
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Rosa Johnston; five children, Clifton H. Johnston, Jr. (Johnette) of Mobile, AL, Patty Moholland (Ken) of Eastport, ME, Jerry Johnston (Rebecca) of Gulfport, Theresa Morgan (Richard) of Shelby, NC, and David Johnston (Leslie) of Gulfport; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family is very thankful for all of the loving caregivers and friends that showed their love and support.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Bible Baptist Church from 8 AM - 9:15 AM. Funeral services will be held at 9:15 AM at the church. Interment with military honors will follow at 11 AM at Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to the Missions Program at Bible Baptist Church.
