Clifford Arthur Winebarger

Cliff Winebarger, age 82, a resident of Saucier passed away on March 27, 2024, at his home.

Cliff asked to let him come home to be with his wife, Brenda and his fur Baby, Miss Harlee, for his final days on this earth. His wishes were granted.

Cliff was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on March 15, 1942, and raised in Union Grove, NC. He loved everyone he met and was kind and generous to his family and friends. He has been in sales his whole life, so we were together in the Mobile Home Industry. He also was in the Shoe business when we met and continued that until he fell in love selling mobile homes. When he met his wife, they got married, he helped raise her two sons and sent them to college. He was a fantastic Stepfather to her two sons which he grew to love very much. Cliff was a diehard Alabama fan and a Jacksonville Jaguars fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford A. Winebarger Sr. and Naomi Koch of Harmony, NC; brothers, Jerry Winebarger of Stoney Point, NC, David Winebarger of Mocksville, NC; sister, Mary Winebarger of Statesville, NC; sister-in-law, Kandy Woodring of Pisgah Forest, NC; nephew, John “Tater” Ledford of Raleigh, NC.

He is survived by his  wife, Brenda Woodring Winebarger of Saucier, MS; brother, Eugene Winebarger of Harmony, NC; 4 boys, Art Winebarger of Huntsville, AL, Matt Winebarger of Boaz, AL, Bubba Owen of Honea Path, SC, and Scott Garland of Raleigh, NC; additional family member, AJ and Rebecca Sizemore of Brevard, NC, Derek and Sandy Houck of Brevard, NC, Joe and Dani Woodring of Leesburg, FL, Shirley Young of Brevard, NC, and Jospeh Ledford of Bristol, TN.

Cliff has 4 grandsons, Jacob, Austin, Cameron Winebarger from Huntsville, AL; Alex Owen of Gulfport, MS; 1 granddaughter, Sydney Owen of Bangor, ME; 1 great-grandson, Hayden Winebarger of Huntsville, AL.

Cliff will be having a celebration of his life in Brevard, NC where he married his wife and lived. Dates are not currently available.
